Upgrading VB6 EndDoc

I am trying to upgrade a VB6 program.

In it the user can select a piece of text , send to the printer, select another piece, print and so on.
When he has assembled everything "in the printer" he sends an end doc and it all appears on the one *** of paper.

I have "mastered" printing in Vb.net but cannot find a simple way of doing this (I could of course assemble it all in a home made spool file but would hope there is a simpler way.

Any ideas?
