why do VB2005 and VB.NET are separated? It seems they are different.
In this specific case VB.Net likely refers to VB2002 and VB2003 (very few differences between these) .
It is also reasonable that much of what would be taught on these courses would still remain true for subsequent versions of VB and therefore to suggest that it pertains only to certain version would be doing it a disservice.
I would suggest that much of this courseware was created when such versions were the only ones around. The site's copyright (at the bottom) states 2005.
VB2005/VS2005/.Net2.0 all arrived in November 05.
This link (http://www.appdev.com/prodfamily.asp?catalog%5Fname=AppDevCatalog&category%5Fname=VBNTProduct) on the page you refered to, has the title "Visual Basic.Net" but when followed mentions specifically 2002 and 2003.
