Re: Issues with ADO Delete Record

1. Access is the GUI and not the database.
WRONG. 99% of people see Access = MDB

2. Access has 3 file types: ADP, MDB, and ACCDB.
You're contradicting yourself in # 7. Also- you're lying in # 7

3. ADP is limited to working ONLY with SQL Server. So the other
EXPRESS versions from other vendors like IBM, Sybase, and Oracle will
not work with an ADP directly. It might possibly work as a linked
server in SQL Server, but I doubt it.
Do you honestly think that I dont know that? I've been using a
freeware version of SQL Sever for 10 years fucktard

4. MDB will work with just about any database there is an ODBC driver
for no matter the vendor.
MDB doesn't work because MDB is obsolete. Thus other databases
like DB2 and Oracle ARE NOT PRACTICAL OPTIONS because they don't
provide their own practical UI

5. Access includes a database engine called JET (will be called ACE in
the future)
My flavor of Access hasn't included jet since 2000

6. You do not have to use JET. It has problems on complex databases
and has corruption issues. IT SHOULD NOT BE USED. Even for personal
databases.
I fully agree with you. Jet should not be used for anything for
any reason. I have supported a ton of Access apps over the years; but
I flat out refuse to build new apps in MDB format. IT SHOULD NOT BE
USED. Even for personal databases.

7. ADP was discontinued in Access 2007 as a native current format. It
can still be done as 2002/2003 compatible.
You're full of crap buster; can't you like save any accdb file as
an ADP? export any ACCDB file as an ADP or something?

I personally won't use 2007, I am just moving everything to php/mysql
because those mother fucker niggers didn't put out a patch for Access
2003 against SQL 2005 yet

Gee Aaron, I guess you are the master...NOT!!!!

No, you have not helped. All I ever see is your idiotic rantings.

You are not even paying attention to what you are writing you idiot.

And you are still spouting CRAP in another topic, that DAO is dead and
was not part of 2000, 2002 and 2003. If you had actually ever used
Access, you would know that is bull***. It was there just not the
default.

So much for your truth. It is just your demented ravings again. Go
see a shrink and start taking your medications.
