Disabling the Form Designer

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I don't use the Form Designer. Is there any way to disable it
completely? I find it annoying that every time I create a new form, or
double-click on an existing one, Visual Studio uses the Designer by
default. It would be nice if I could turn that off.
