If you do have VS2003 or VB2003 than I would go for one of those.
The documentation about 2005 is not yet that as it is for 2003 on MSDN. 2003
is at least much comfortable to work with than the June 2005 version and the
major changes in the language are so slight for a beginner that it is not
noticeable.
