Skeletonizing / Thinning Algorithm for Images

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance



Hi,

I looking for an algorithm that will skeletonize / thin binary (black
and white) images. Something like shown in the image:

Can somebody please point me to some source code that will do that?
