Whether it looks like a reply is irrelevant. It _also_ looks like spam. There's no rule that says that spam is only found in the first message of any thread.

You should not quote spam, regardless of where it is found. You really shouldn't even reply to it, but if you cannot resist the temptation you should not quote it.
