I don't know the answer to your question, but the original question didn't say anything about a browser. For all we knew, you were talking about a regular .NET Form-based application. Now it seems like you are talking about some sort of web-based .NET thing. ASP, Web namespace? You still haven't made it clear.
Also, if the behavior is browser-dependent, you should say what browser fails. For now, all we know is that it works fine in Firefox. Great. So what browser _doesn't_ it work fine in?
I agree it wasn't very clear at all, but inspecting the question more closely, "IE 6", which is to say "Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0"
These are all things you should probably consider if you would like to get the best results from your question, so that you ensure that you actually ask a question that someone can answer helpfully.
