According to this page (related to another software with at least
alternative.iso format)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/support/install/
you have to use 3rd party programs, and the ones listed are not free
and charge min $30.
Is it some kind of scam?!
IsoBuster is free for extracting the contents of an image file. There
are
other free options as well if you want to burn an image to CD. One no
fuss
easy option is BurnCDCC fromhttp://www.bootitng.com/utilities.html. You
can also use free utilities such as daemon tools for Alcohol 52% that
will
allow you to mount the image file in a virtual CD/DVD drive to do the
install. So plenty of free options available.

The website for IsoBuster does not list any free version, you can
download it for free
but when you actually want to extract the image it wants you to pay
first.
I want to use only programs listed oficially on Microsoft site. I will
not run anything else on my PC.
This is the oddest thing. That troll AaronKempf posted an almost-identical
method in the VB ng a week or so ago. So maybe this is a new alias for him?
