tabbed view (newbie)

I am just moving to c# from MFC and need a little help

My model is basically a collection of Plans
I'd like to develop a form that allows the user to interact with one of
those Plans
and then have a 'tabbed view' , one for each of the plans.
this would allow the user to select one Plan, work on it then select another

I've looked at the tabControl but this is not same thing

does anyone have any ideas how to do this in C#

any help will be much appreciated
