Setting Cursortype and LockType
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
Hi,
I am using SQL Server with an existing application. The application is
transferring a large amount of data from a SQL Database to an Access
database (for reporting). The application is using Datasets to move the
data. I was hoping to gain a little more performance by setting the
Locktype, and cursortype but I can't seem to figure out where to set them.
Are these a command property, or a dataset property? What should the syntax
be?
Thanks!
Ron
