Vb.net to C#

I've got a possible gig using C#. I've been writing VB.NET since 2000 but
have not really done any C#. How long will it take to get up to speed with
the C# knowing VB.NET well?

Are there any good books for experienced VB.NET developers wanting to learn
C#?
