The problem is that truly new ideas are rare. Most supossed new ideas
were tried and discarded many years ago. Those who don't know the past
are doomed to repeat it.

Indeed, but many solutions are never the best solution to any problem,
and this is the case of the business objects stuff. A reinvention of
the worst practices of the 50's.
