Hello
I ask you for an advice.
I was programming with C++Builder and after comes Codegear and now Embarcadero.I have not confiance in the future about the product! So I have choosen to us VStudio.
Mine questions are:
Is dotnet able to do numerous iteratios rapidly?
Must I choose already 64 bit programming and is it compatible with 32?
And about the calculus must I keep the C++ because I think I know enough it and for the speed or c#?
And C++ is it too running on multi platform without lost speed? although MS represent more than 90% of the seels.
What is your advice for the future.
Because it is not easy to change fron Builder to MVStudio, than is a enormous machine and I hopre to have not to change again.
Thank you for you advices for the future
Thank you again
Patrick

Get the free VisualStudio 2008 Express Edition and also download the Windows SDK (also free) for standalone C++ apps.
If you know C++ syntax, C# won't be a hassle. Learning about .NET and the .NET classes will take more effort. Visual Studio isn't going anywhere, but forward.
