Windows was unable to complete the format

Hi,
Originally I had a cluster with 2 poweredge dell servers running server
2008. The cluster is connnected to storage array EMC AEX-4 box. Everything
was working fine and I was able to work on the volumes created on the storage
box from both servers. The other day my cluster was destroyed on purpose but
something went wrong in the process and now I can't format the volumes on
storage array to make them usable for the host system. I can see the drives,
bring them online and initialize them but when I am formatting I get error
from Logical Disk Manager stating that the format did not complete
sucessfully. I have tried to format a drive on the host to make sure that
this works and I have been able to format the LUN using FAT system, which
obvisouly won't work for production.
I am pretty much stuck and any help would be greatly appreciated.
