RE: VS 2005 Classname Drop down

Hi Rick,

You must be using VB.NET, right?

In VB.NET 2005, to override a method/property in an inherited class, open
the code file of the inherited class and type "overrides" and press the
Space key.

You should see a list of valid overridable memebers pops up. You can scroll
or use the arrow keys to navigate through the list, or, if you know the
first few letters of the member name, begin typing to jump directly to the
member in the list.

When a member from the list is selected, you can press ENTER to insert that
member into you code and you can override the propery/method now.

Hope this helps.
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,
Linda Liu

Note: The MSDN Managed Newsgroup support offering is for non-urgent issues
where an initial response from the community or a Microsoft Support
Engineer within 1 business day is acceptable. Please note that each follow
up response may take approximately 2 business days as the support
professional working with you may need further investigation to reach the
most efficient resolution. The offering is not appropriate for situations
that require urgent, real-time or phone-based interactions or complex
project analysis and dump analysis issues. Issues of this nature are best
handled working with a dedicated Microsoft Support Engineer by contacting
Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) at
