how do i programmatically create a new solution?

Hi,

Is there a way to get vb 2003 or vb 2005 express to programatically create a
new solution (or project), of a particular type, on the fly? I'd like to
just be able to supply the solution and/or project name and let it create
the necessary files for me. I know where the templates are kept but I
thought that there might be a way for .Net to do this for me automatically.
