Framework Exception with Async Sockets under load

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

While recently testing the new xxxAsync socket methods we have found that
under heavy load an "InvalidOperationException" is generated in the
ExecutionContext.Run.

A few searches on the internet show that other people have run into the same
issue. Is this a framework bug? Is there a work around?
