I am trying to install the Visual Basic.Net Resource Kit on my computer. The installation kit includes, as a first step, the installation of Net Framework 1.1.
When it is almost done with the installation (4seconds remaining) the system hung and msdtc.exe jumps to 100% CPU utilization and it doesn't move from there.
Can somebody help me with this?. I have a DELL Dimension Pentium 4 3.06 Ghz, 520 RAM and plenty space . I have Windows 2000 Professional with all of the latest Service Packs and patches.
I found a reference from microsoft with similar problems with SERIVES.EXE and they recomend installing a fix that comes with Service Pack 4. However, what can I do if I already have all of the service packs installed?
Thanks
Reynaldo
