Hi Emmanuel,
I run your sample program on my pc and did see the same problem you have
encountered. When I set the color depth to 32-bit and run the program, the
area where the right rectangle with a pink color resides represents the
same color as the form's back color.
I also tried this workaround in VS.NET 2003, the result is that it WORKS in
VS.NET 2003. When the color depth is 32-bit, the program written in VS.NET
2003 shows a transparent area where the pink rectangle resides. So it seems
that the workaround provided by the Microsoft KB article only applies to
VS.NET 2003.
We will scale this problem and sumit it to our product team if necessary.
