msgbox empty / blank in visual studio

I wanted to post this question, but I found the solution in:

I changed some keywords in my posting hoping this can be of some use
to others because I've spend a couple of hours figuring out wath the
h$%l was going on with my message boxes.

In my new solutions the captions were empty:
http://www.dolesoft.com/google/emptymsgbox.jpg

Didn't have any trouble with older solutions or VS.NET 2005??

Anyway, I was lucky to find the posting mentioned above among the
thousands of hits...
It turned out that McAfee 8.0's buffer overflow protection was bugging
me...
A few months ago I had something with an e-mail app I build and port
25 which mcAfee blocked...
