Re: How to specify credientials when publishing to a remote URL?

I had this problem the other day and managed to publish by opening explorer
and navigating to the folder on the remote machine. This resulted in the
network resource login dialog being displayed and once I logged in, I was
able to publish without the rather unhelpful Publish Failed message on the
status bar.

Hi.
I'm developing a web service on my machine, but I want to be able to
"publish" it to our webserver located off out in the internet cloud
somewhere.
I've installed the FP Extentions on the webserver, and if I simply copy
over my build folder to the right place it (the service) works, but I want
to be able to use the Publish command as it's quicker.
The webserver has no relation to our own network so my local login is
irrelevant.
I'm putting in the url, i.e. http://ourwebserver.com:8080
When I click the publish button it chugs away for a few seconds, then says
it failed. It never pops up and asks for login credentials. Where can I
put these?!
Thanks
James.
