Re: Odd problem with WSE

Steven,

That's a good suggestion...but I'll have to try it in a few weeks. The time
involved to re-install VS right now would be disruptive.

Since I have working machines from which I can generate the proxy classes,
this is a non-critical issue for the time being so I'm going to go ahead and
ignore it until I have some time to look into it again.

Thanks for all your help!

Thanks for your reply Bryan,

Yes, that's why I would like you to confirm the behavior of other WSDL on
the problem machine. Since if any other webservice/WSDL also not work on
it, that means it is a component issue of the VS IDE wse 2 add-in and not
specific to WSDL. For such scenario, it would be hard to troubleshoot the
issue because the add-in is not documented and is tightly coupled with the
VS 2003 IDE. Also, in my previous research, I did found some former case
which encoutner the WSE 2.0/VS 2003 add-in not work, and it finally
resolved by reinstalling both vs 2003 and WSE 2.0 components. It is likely
that some system wide setting(like registry ) has been corrupted. If
possible, I would suggest you consider performing a reinstall for both VS
2003 and WSE 2.

Sincerely,

Steven Cheng
