Certificates for WSE

I'm using WSE 3.0 Beta.
Is it possible to create a working certificate for encryption and
authorisation using Certificate Server that will work with WSE 3.0.
The only working certificates I can create are using the SDK version of
makecert.
Whenever I try certificates certificate server I get the message that the
cert is not suitable for encryption (when selecting it for client
authorisation) even though on certificate server the radio button for
exchange is ticked (can't untick it actually).
Also has anyone got a link to the steps I would go through to request a WSE
3.0 capable certificate (client and server) from a certification authority
such as Thawte. Not at that point yet, but once the full release comes out
its something I'd like to do.
I've searched around and can see a lot of others having similar problems.
Thanks
Jon
