Hi!

I am encrypting my username token and password using X.509
certificates. This is getting validated against a directory by the web
service. According to the membership of the user in different groups,
the user is given permission for access. I dont want to send my
username token with each and every user transaction, to minimise
directory lookups. How does the web service keep a track of the users
that are already authorised, and what roles they are entitled for?

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks and Regards
Ipsita
