config file

    Probably silly question, but as a ~new wse user, I wonder why config file
    needed. Now I have to look at xml and find the file and worry about dist
    another file in the distribution and worry about user changing it (no?).
    Why not just have properties and methods to set on the wse service(s) so I
    can do everything in code? Or can you and I am just missing something
    basic? TIA
