Yes, I have actually tried this but no joy. There is an "Other People" tab
is here, but the certificate list is empty after selecting the tab then
performing the import. The import appears to automatically place the *.cer
files into Intermediate Certification Authorities. When I attempt to bypass
automatic placement into the store, the list of stores corresponds to the
list in the mmc, which does not contain an Other People store, and there
does not seem to be a way to create an Other People store.

Yikes.
