I have IIS and ASP.NET on my computer but it is not running....

I've tried to use the aspnet_regiis.exe -i command, but it didn't work. I
cannot start any ASP.NEt project and VB Script does not work in HTML
documents. I once had the IIS and ASP.NET installed in the past, but it was
uninstalled recently and I cannot get ASP.NET to work since I re-installed
it. What do I do?
