Thank you so much, that was it. I have visual basic .net version 7.
They might want to add that requirement to the 1.1 download page at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/framework1_1/
I just breezed throught the download assuming it would work. It actually
does work, I successfully used the new browseforfolder object in my visual
studio version 7, it just wouldnt let me edit the form.
