Hi Stefan,

Thanks for your response. I think I have cracked it now though.

I tried to run an extraction on the exe file for SP1... With this I managed
to obtain the msp from within it and apply the msp to the msi package from
the command line. My initial testing is showing me that this has been
successful as from one install I now have .NET Framework 1.1 with Service
Pack 1.
