thats becoz your remoting objects need iis as the host.
I am not sure if the VS 2005 web server will behave the same way as IIS does
as far as remoting hosting goes.

Hi
My problem is about asp.net development server. I wonder if is there
any
issues about this product. Because our application which is converted
from .net 1.1 to .net 2.0
use iis remoting and windows controls on webforms . The interesting
part is when i publish web site under iis remoting works . But in
visual studio 2005 when i hit f5 button everyhting changes only
wellknown objects works. My client activated object doesnt work and
gives " Unable to connect to remote server" .
Thanks
