The question is:
How do I make TcpClientChannel work using "secure", "Encrypted&Sign" without
specifying any credentials? The client and server are NOT part of the same
domain.
When I use "secure", I get all kinds of authentication and/or access denied
errors.
If the application on the client runs anonymously under a machine
account such as ASPNET or IUSR_blah, you might be able to give this
account rights under the Local Security Policy on the server. You will
likely be seeing access denied messages in the Security event log for
the specific account on the server now. The basic issue is that you
can't have encryption unless you know who it is that is requesting the
service.
