I have a custom application for our clients that is currently being
developed outside .NET (hopefully soon to be moving in), and the application
needs to reference some .NET assemblies for functionality. Currently, when
I run the application local to my machine (straight off the C drive),
everything works quite well, but when I move the application to a network
environment (many of our clients are set up as network access), it fails to
run with an error message that the call to the .NET assembly is not
supported. Is there any reason a mix like this needs the local drive from a
..NET point of view? Or should I be able to call this and have it return
just like it would locally? Thanks.
