Hi Peter,
Now it starts to be really interesting ...
My addin works just fine, the links from the help are ok, etc. I needed
to go back 1 month to see all changes which I made and it stopped to
work.
SO, you can not reproduce the problem, because it does not exist if you
create a pure .net addin.
But if you add a unmanaged shim with this wizard:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-
us/dno2k3ta/html/ODC_Office_COM_Shim_Wizards.asp
Two thinks happen:
1. The effect I described, I.e. links in mailto fields failed.
2. It does not display Outlooks original help any more.
I removed all the help classes from my addin, and even if I do not open
my for at all, the original Outlook help does not fire. And if I remove
the shim, and register the addin in the normal way, it works like a
charm.
Please, check if you can reproduce the problem at your side. Just, as
you have managed addin, apply on it the wizard and take a look what
happens.
I'm using framework 1.1 SP 1.
