I don't think that DirectX will speed up printing.

Hello,
I am first copying large bitmap image to clipboard.
When I use Graphics.DrawImage() in OnStartPage, it is extremly slow.
I understand DirectX is many times faster at displaying image on video
screen
can DirectX be used to "print" bitmap image to printer device context??
Any hint, direction you can point is sincerely appreciated.
Thanks.
Heino
