FYI, resetting the pen width during metafile playback worked. For
example: a pen width of 1 in the metafile is reset to 6 during
playback when the target device resolution is 600 DPI (Note: 6 <>
600/96, but it's good enough).

Why this is necessary totally escapes me. For example, if a line is
supposed to be 1/96" thick, that should be honored (IMO) regardless if
played back on a 96 DPI device or 600 DPI device.

I remain hopeful I'm missing something fundamental, and some kind soul
-smile- will tell me what that is.
