Can you check if you have any dependencies (references) in your project pointing to full framework dlls instead of the Compact Framework versions?

I have a VB.NET 2005 solution that has a Smart Device CAB project as part of it that creates my installation CAB file. It has been working successfully for months, and usually creates a CAB of around 2MB in size.
Suddenly and for no apparent reason I have started getting a CAB of about 20MB in size. Whan I looked at the detected dependencies list, it contains alot more files than it used to - including System .dll files that weren't there before and after I install it I get type load errors at runtime that suggests to me that files on the device are being overwritten when they shouldn't be. If I exclude all these files then rebuild the CAB, it works but I'm not sure if I am excluding something important.
I have not added any new projects / files to the solution and I don't know what I am doing differently. Also I am getting the same .dll file included more than once in the cab even though it is referenced once in the solution. Is this a problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
