Hi Doug,
a couple of years before, I developed an applicaiton for WinCe 4.2 with a
database-file (sdf) on a SD card. At first, everythink was fine, but a few
month later, we had problems wirh corrupted sdf-files on the SD cards.
We had at lot of trouble with that failure. I don't know exactly why that
happens. Some people say, that it is something with the power managment. I
think, it is better to be careful.

Carsten,
Can you explain exactly why an SD card (or any removable flash memory)
shouldn't be used for the database file?

dangerours and can corrupt your database.
