Re: Serial port mapping in emulater ???

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Have checked that no other program is holding the port because I can open
and close the port from any other application (activeSync via com port is
also not enabled). Any other idea what could be wrong ?

Something is messed up. Make sure that some other program is not also
using that port. The most common culprit is some sort of Fax program, but
ActiveSync and other programs may cuse the same problem.
