You can open a SSC 3.1 or 3.0 database with SQL 2005 Express Studio, and you can open a SSC 3.5 database with SQL 2008 Studio. You can also open a SSC 3.5 database with VS 2008 data tools, and you need VS 2005 data tools to open SSC 3.0 and 3.1 databases.

how can i open a SQL CE Database with SQL Express Management Console ?
What an additonal Software do i need ?

Background:
I have VS2008 installed and sqlserver_advanced 2005 express

With the Management Console of SQL2005 Express i created a new
database with 1 table (guess 3.5)

in the VS it was upgraded to 3.5 (huuuu)


now when i will it open with the advanced studio console to run some
Querrys. i cant open because i became an error:
