Change "ringing" mode programatically

Hi,

I'm trying to %subj%. If I modify HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\ShellOverrides\Mode, then after 1-2s the "original" value is back.

I've also tryied calling right after AudioUpdateFromRegistry() method, but still not working.

What I'm doing wrong? Is there any other solution?
