Thanks for the suggestion, I will give that a try. To clarify, the
connection string will always be correct. I guess what I meant to say
was that the program has to be able to quickly detect if the wireless
connection to the server has been lost so it can store data internally
instead of forwarding to the database. So this solution should give me
the results I need.
