Publish Website problem

Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

I used the deploy feature of VS 2008 to deploy (no boxes checked) my website
to another server. The deploy says it succeded and the website is on the
new server but the Masterpage.master did not deploy and, of course, the
website won't run complaining that Masterpage is missing.

If I check the box saying: "Allow this precompiled site to be updateable",
it works fine but it deploys all of the aspx code.

After googling around I find that this happens to a lot of other people also
but I have never found an answer on the issue.
