Create my own support forum with asp.net?

I have been looking around at various forum software for allowing users on our ASP.NET 3.5 website to ask support questions on our software to us and other users.
Then I had the thought of building our own since we only want simple, clear, threaded discussions much like NNTP in Windows Mail but on a webpage. We want the same look and feel as our site and want to give only our current users the ability to post.
Before I think about re-inventing the wheel, does anyone know of any VB.NET code anywhere that would do this?
