The IIS was not set for ASP 2.0...

Tried the APP_CODE folder and now it complains about the Index.aspx

I made the project a Web Project, Rebuilt, Restarted the IIS but still
comes up with the same error
Works fine from the ide
Can I just create the APP_CODE folder?

Try putting it in the APP_CODE folder. Or, you can use the Web
Application
Project model and you will not have this issue.
