RE: VS 2005 pb on web site publish

From your description, I understand you're encounering some problem on the
VS 2005's Publish Web Site function. Based on my understanding, publish web
site by default will use fileshare to connecting target deployment
location(if you're using remote http address). If there hasn't been any
change on the remote site's shared location, the problem should be on the
VS 2005's dev machine. Have you ever applied any change on that machine ,
such as network changing? Also, for general tests, you can consider
creating other website application and try publishing it, or use publish
website to publish the compiled site to a file share location (not http
address) to see whether it works.
