Hi
I have a windows control I embed onto an aspx page which is grabbing a
dataset from the client and sending it to the server through a
webservice.
This works fine in a windows app. However when i put the aspx on a
webpage there is a security issues that pops when user tries to use the
windows ctrl.
The message is: The application attempted to perform an operation not
allowed by the security policy. The operation required the security
exception. to grant this application the required permission use the
..net security policy admin tool.
So some questions..
How can i get the client to trust the windows ctrl ?
Why does the operation require a security exception?
Where do i and my users find the .net security policy admin tool and
can these settings be set automatically ?
Please help thanks so much
.
