Moving my projects to asp.net beta 2. Good idea?
Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance
Hello,
I have just built my asp.net 1.1 project with visual studio web dev express
2005.
Beta 2 has a Go Live license and i want to get used to the new things as
early as possible.
Is there any reason why i should not do this?
I know some of the beta 2 apis may change but otherwise can i run into other
serious
problems that might prevent me from delivering update of my web applikation
?
Any comment will be higly appreciated.
JB

... I don't have the exact details of this license, but if I remember VS2005 and it's Go Live license correctly, it had some limitations - such as a requirement to purchase/upgrade to the final RTM version when it comes out (so no running beta built apps indefinitely) and, I think there wasn't a re-distributable of the runtime - so VS2005 had to be installed on the machine which would run the app. ...
