HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error

While trying to establish a connection between asp and SQL Server, I was
screwing around with my permissions of the aspnet user and my own user. I
did get the connection to work, logged out and shut down the computer.
The problem is that, when I booted up today and tried to open and of my web
applications, I began receiving the error message:
"The Web server reported the following error when attempting to create or
open the Web project located at the following URL: <application url>.
'HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error'.
Could you help me?
