Duplicate controls problem

We're trying to port a website done with VS2003 .net 1.1 to VS2005
..net 2.0 (slowly of course, as that's all VS2005 can manage).
Eventually we got the dame thing to domcpile, but we seem to have a
control problem with the Titelbar component. When anyone tries to
connect to the website, they get this error:
Compiler Error Message: CS0433: The type 'DeptS.common.TitleBar'
exists in both 'c:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary
ASP.NET
Files\root\a6cbd41d\a25e0c58\assembly\dl3\9970dede\f0f1d709_535ac701\DeptS.DLL'
and 'c:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET
Files\root\a6cbd41d\a25e0c58\App_Web_titlebar.ascx.cs.38131f0b.tbareyrj.dll'
Can anyone suggest what error on our part might result in this
apparent duplicate DLL problem ?
